What is it?
The product we offer at VENUX belongs to the family of Sintered Stones (also known as ultra compact surface, sintered surface or similar). Sintered stone is a 100% natural material based on atomized minerals that, through compaction and heating, form a solid mass with exceptional properties.
How is it produced?
VENUX is produced using the latest in sintering technology, replicating the age-old process by which natural stone is formed in a matter of hours. The sintering process involves subjecting the mixture of minerals and pigments that make up the product to extremely high pressure, by pressing at over 400 bars. In the second phase of the process, the product passes through a furnace where temperatures reach over 1200°C (2200°F), fusing the particles together through the particle sintering process. This ultra-compaction process creates full-body surfaces with unique technical characteristics. A 100% natural, recyclable, sustainable and maintenance-free composition.
